HOW TO PASSATA, KETCHUP AND BOTTLE TOMATOES AT CORNERSMITH

Last week we had the pleasure and excitement of attending a Cornersmith Tomato Day workshop in collaboration with Kilner Jars. What an experience! Something that is tricky to describe in words because it’s so hands on and messy and delicious and really a class (or more) you should book into for yourselves.

The Cornersmith run a series of workshops, short workshops, community talks, pop ups and events and private workshops. All are suitable for both new and experienced domestic cooks. Each class has an emphasis on local, seasonal produce and aims to teach traditional techniques for modern kitchens.

Workshops are taught at the Picklery in Marrickville or in a pop-up location.
