  • Berry tart with a gluten free choc cinnamon and cauliflower
3 days ago by brownpapernutrition Berry tart with a gluten free choc cinnamon (and cauliflower base)... I had you at berry, cinnamon, and cacao and then when I jumped in with cauliflower you no doubt questioned me am I right?????? Well, let me reassure you that whilst the wonder-veg-that-can-be-made-into-anything aka cauliflower is in this tart, you actually wouldn’t pick that it is and the tart is still deliciously sweet, wholesome and healthy all in one. I’ve included  @pompompaddock  Cauliflower Flour mix (made it with a pizza slice not long ago too!) with cacao, cinnamon, butter, and a couple of other simple ingredients for the tart
  • I waited a long time for someone like this beautiful
2 days ago by brownpapernutrition I waited a long time for someone like this beautiful man to walk into my life. He is kind, oh so patient, humble, just a bit divinely handsome, present, conscious and considered, loyal and equally strong as he allows himself to be vulnerable. He doesn’t let me sit in a funk for too long before stepping in with his love and reminding me of all the great things we share. He’s incredibly gentle but with a grip and cuddle so tight I know he will never let go. I am truly the luckiest to have you in my life  @svendsenfitnesshealth
  • PEAR PUREE BAKED PEARS HONEY RICOTTA WITH PEARS ON
4 days ago by brownpapernutrition PEAR PUREE, BAKED PEARS + HONEY RICOTTA WITH PEARS ON TOAST! Some for bub, some for you and a deliciously, nourishing and simple way to get good nutrition in to kick off the day. Smooth pureed Packham Pears are some of the best fruits to wean your bub and start on solids. They’re obviously so delicious, but from a nutrition perspective they’re a source of Vitamin C and the soluble fibre, pectin, which helps support bowel movements in bubs too. Not sure how or when to start? A small portion (1/2 – 1 teaspoon) first thing in the morning is

  • At this time of year I usually post several health
3 days ago by brownpapernutrition At this time of year I usually post several health hacks to survive the silly season but this year I am going to keep it simple with just three... 1.Keep your body moving 2.Drink plenty of water 3.Prep and pack your lunch. Why lunch? Well i figure brekky you can pretty much pick up easily even if it’s muesli and yoghurt to have at your desk but lunch rolls around and people generally have their moment of fast food temptation and then go into party food and alcohol for the evening ahead. Prep a few ingredients and pack them up

Choc avocado raspberry pops

You can’t taste the avocado though, so essentially just creamy, delicious, nourishing icy poles you can gobble up as a sweet treat, actually you know what bugger that – eat them for breakfast if you like!!! 😉

They’re so yum, healthy and a fab way to enjoy avocado beyond avo on toast, avo on eggs, avo guac, avo in smoothie, avo errrrrryday baby. 🥑

I think my mum instilled the love of avocado in me, each day after school when she wasn’t working we went home, she’d crack one open, squeeze it with lemon, salt and pepper and we’d have halfa each. I still love it like that, but I also love how creative you can get with avocado in sweet and savoury dishes too. 🙂

CHOC BERRY AVO ICY POLES

Makes 6

Gluten free : Dairy Free : Vegan

1 1/2 cups avocado flesh (approx 2-3 small avocado)
Choc layer:
3 tablespoons raw cacao powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/3 cup water

Berry layer:
1 cup berries (can be frozen and defrosted)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1/4 cup water

For the chocolate layer, blend 3/4 cup avocado with the chocolate ingredients and set aside.

For the berry layer, blend remaining 3/4 cup avocado with the berry ingredients.

Alternate layers in popsicle moulds, then freeze 6 hours or until set. 🌱
