    2 days ago by brownpapernutrition Good morning from the Snowy Mountains!!! ⛰ Currently road tripping but after the 430am start we be there sooooon! ☕️ So excited to get on the mountain again and see my little man on a snow board for the first time. Meeting our fam there, be so rad to have that time together, ski our lil hearts out and eat big yummy meals at the end of the day before doing it all over again yewwwww. DRIVE FORWARD IN HEALTH

Having recently come on board as an ambassador for Audi Alto Pennant Hills I’ve been drivin’ and discovering some wonderful little health spots in, out and beyond Sydney in the past few months. There’s something SO LIBERATING about jumping in the car and getting away from the norm. Not to mention when it’s a beautiful car such as the new Audi Q2.

Our drives have taken us on these nourishing and pretty active (digestion is an action too you know…) adventures:

GREAT NORTH WALK for a 28km bushwalk, which is part of our training for the upcoming Oxfam 100km Walk in August. Nervous? Yes. Excited? ABSOLUTELY! Drive to Berowra Station, park the car in the all day-er, hop on the train to Brooklyn / Hawkesbury River and then start the Great North Walk which extends from Newcastle to Sydney. This part of the track takes you from Hawkesbury back to Berowra through the bush. It’s stunning, challenging too, and worth it. Start at 8/9am for an afternoon finish, pack plenty of water, lunch and snacks!

IN PULS for a change to my own weekday training. If you’re up for something that will challenge your muscles in ways you cannot even BEGIN to imagine then this training is for you. I discovered EMS training (electro muscular stimulation) last year in Kuala Lumpur and then recently the first studio has opened just up in Bondi Junction. There is zero chance for making excuses or pike out in this training because it’s only a 20 minute work out that essentially delivers the same level of training to your muscles as a 3 hour session in the gym. Yep. Do it.

YARRAMALONG VALLEY to a gorgeous farm stay for a weekend with our family and somewhere we will absolutely return too. To be honest I didn’t even know where Yarramalong was until the weekend we headed there and it was divine. Best activity of this weekend was definitely our time at Tree Tops, which was not only a physical challenge but a mental one. Get ready to push well out of your comfort zone for this one!

NUBO PLAY in Alexandria, just next to Skyzone and Attractivity, so in school holidays this was a wonderful option to keep squids active and happy for a few hours. Parents you relate???? Get your squids to Nubo for a beautiful and educational experience in play.

FRESHWATER BEACH which is just a jump over the Harbour from our home in Bondi, but it feels like a big leap away from the hustle of the east at times! Lunch at PILU Freshwater is  a must if you’re a lover of beautiful Sardinian (Italian) fare with the most relaxing view – ever.

SOUTH COAST NSW to the most heavenly location  Ocean Farm – a must if you want to escape! You could easily just stay there for the entire duration but there are amazing beaches and green valleys pouring into the ocean for walks, riding and more.
