EAT HERE…BEACHWOOD CAFE, YAMBA

Had the most delicious food discoveries and surprising ones too in the little coastal town of Yamba recently on our road trip up the north coast. My word are there some insane locations to chill, swim, surf, read, do NOTHING along our beautiful coast line. And then, as you arrive in these towns more and more are starting to build their craft in food and it truly makes the holiday something else.

Beachwood Cafe came highly recommended by a number of people who have frequented Yamba over the years and thus has established a solid name for itself locally and for the tourists such as us.

Their Turkish menu is unique, robust in flavour, organic, seasonal, local and fresh – so many boxes ticked. Get there early to avoid too much of a wait however, as our timing was bang on lunch and being post surf hangry didn’t do myself or the little dude many favours.

We enjoyed the Garlic chilli prawns and the braised octopus – turkish bread to accompany of course!
