  • I waited a long time for someone like this beautiful
19 hours ago by brownpapernutrition I waited a long time for someone like this beautiful man to walk into my life. He is kind, oh so patient, humble, just a bit divinely handsome, present, conscious and considered, loyal and equally strong as he allows himself to be vulnerable. He doesn’t let me sit in a funk for too long before stepping in with his love and reminding me of all the great things we share. He’s incredibly gentle but with a grip and cuddle so tight I know he will never let go. I am truly the luckiest to have you in my life  @svendsenfitnesshealth
  • Delicious Gluten Free Ginger Slice with Pecans and Hazelnuts went
4 days ago by brownpapernutrition Delicious Gluten Free Ginger Slice with Pecans and Hazelnuts went down an absolute treat with friends over the weekend. It’s definitely one of the easiest baked goodies for the Chrissy season, yet still so festive in flavour with ginger spice, pecans and hazelnuts. I made it gluten free using the Woolworths Free From Gluten Self Raising Flour only available at  @woolworths_au  and it was still lovely and fluffy. If ginger isn’t your flavour, you could swap out for some cinnamon and it would be just as scrumptious. I’ve popped this recipe on the blog wonderful friends (link in bio) -
  • PEAR PUREE BAKED PEARS HONEY RICOTTA WITH PEARS ON
3 days ago by brownpapernutrition PEAR PUREE, BAKED PEARS + HONEY RICOTTA WITH PEARS ON TOAST! Some for bub, some for you and a deliciously, nourishing and simple way to get good nutrition in to kick off the day. Smooth pureed Packham Pears are some of the best fruits to wean your bub and start on solids. They’re obviously so delicious, but from a nutrition perspective they’re a source of Vitamin C and the soluble fibre, pectin, which helps support bowel movements in bubs too. Not sure how or when to start? A small portion (1/2 – 1 teaspoon) first thing in the morning is
  • At this time of year I usually post several health
1 day ago by brownpapernutrition At this time of year I usually post several health hacks to survive the silly season but this year I am going to keep it simple with just three... 1.Keep your body moving 2.Drink plenty of water 3.Prep and pack your lunch. Why lunch? Well i figure brekky you can pretty much pick up easily even if it’s muesli and yoghurt to have at your desk but lunch rolls around and people generally have their moment of fast food temptation and then go into party food and alcohol for the evening ahead. Prep a few ingredients and pack them up
  • Berry tart with a gluten free choc cinnamon and cauliflower
2 days ago by brownpapernutrition Berry tart with a gluten free choc cinnamon (and cauliflower base)... I had you at berry, cinnamon, and cacao and then when I jumped in with cauliflower you no doubt questioned me am I right?????? Well, let me reassure you that whilst the wonder-veg-that-can-be-made-into-anything aka cauliflower is in this tart, you actually wouldn’t pick that it is and the tart is still deliciously sweet, wholesome and healthy all in one. I’ve included  @pompompaddock  Cauliflower Flour mix (made it with a pizza slice not long ago too!) with cacao, cinnamon, butter, and a couple of other simple ingredients for the tart

Red Thai cauliflower pear and butter bean curry

I was clearing out my fridge this morning and wanted to use up the leftover coconut milk, herbs and craving a good Thai curry. I saw some pears 🍐 on the table and thought how similar in texture pears can be to potatoes (taters are often used in curries!), plus they add that yummy element...

CURRIED VEGETABLE PIE

Clear obsession going on with vegetables, curry and sweet potato (baked, mashed, hashbrowns - I'll take it whichever way) this winter! Can't be a bad thing though they all have INSANE properties to support our health and all in one in a pie - oh baby COME AT ME! Nutrition highlights for this one firing high,...

SPICED PUMPKIN CAULIFLOWER AND DUKKAH

Curry spice is underrated. Massively. Maybe it's because it was overused in the 70-80s hit favourite - curried eggs, or maybe it's simply because we don't know when or how to use it. Hopefully this will change things for you. Curry spice sprinkled over pumpkin in this recipe is the simplest way to up the...
