The Slow boutique hotel, Canggu Bali

On our recent trip to Bali we had an accomodation blunder – long story short, booked the trip so late that we grabbed an Air Bnb without really knowing the surrounds (generally tricky in Bali as it is but anyway) and on day two of holidays major construction started all around it – not so relaxing on a holiday. However, the blunder and bailing out of that accomodation in particular lead us to quite possibly the most amazing experience in accomodation for the remainder of the holiday! You have to have those moments in travel right? They push you for a reason.

And the push lead us to The Slow which I can only describe as quite possibly one of the most beautiful experiences in accomodation I’ve ever had. The attention to detail, design, quality of everything they include within the hotel and stunning, unique qualities of The Slow made it true to it’s name because literally the moment you step into your room, you are immersed and ready to slow down.

I’m not sure my words will actually do enough justice to your own experience at The Slow but we truly fell in love with everything. Their beautiful furnishings, industrial but polished design, attention to sustainability practice and divine ceramics for service and fortunately to purchase too. 

If travelling to Bali at any time soon, please pause and experience The Slow – their restaurant serves heavenly delicious food (not featured here – the above is a papaya from a side of road fruit store – beyond!!!) and if you can stay there I honestly cannot recommend it more highly.
