Welcome to a New Year with Brown Paper Nutrition!

I was about to post my usual Monday night foodie inspo for you, but I’ve been thinking recently about sharing a bit more about well…me, and my story. 😊
There’s been quite a few new people in the @brownpapernutrition community of late – 👋 and rather than launch straight into my story I thought I’d introduce myself to you and tell you just a few things to start, here goes!
➕I’m the youngest of 3 girls and my sisters and I have French names – Nadine, Romaine, Jacqueline or a little less French we’re known as – Dini, Romy and Jacq
➕As a child I lived in Tokyo, Japan and it has sculpted so much of how I approach life today
➕I’ve never been great with stuff like hair cuts, getting nails done, shopping or doing make up (in fact I have NFI how to do it)
➕When I launched Brown Paper Nutrition about 6 years ago I had also very recently become a single mum and started it all from our tiny apartment and the Bondi Farmers Market
➕I won’t negotiate on good healthy food, exercise and sleep
➕My gorgeous boy – Jet (he’s 8) – is my best friend and greatest inspiration
➕White t-shirts, jeans and trainers are my uniform for life and an apron when I’m cooking of course!
➕Food and I haven’t always had the passionate love affair we appear to now – for close to 15 years an eating disorder consumed me and it wasn’t really until Jet came into my life that I was able to put it in my past
➕I love a really good glass of red wine and delicious sourdough dipped in olive oil and sea salt
➕Right now in this moment I am writing my greatest chapter yet. 🙏

There are a few things in there I know need more than just a point, and that’s what I’ll start sharing with you more in the coming weeks. Let me know if you have any questions I can also answer for you too. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful community. Much love to you all, Jacq 😚
