Winter warming recipes to keep you in good health

Struggling to get out of bed in the winter? Ugh, us too.

Summer poke bowls and jazzy salads not hitting the spot on a chilly winter’s night? We hear ya!

Find yourself reaching for comfort foods on those bleak rainy weekends? You bet ya!

We find when the temperature drops outside, it’s time to really turn up the heat in the kitchen and get those bodies warmed and well fed! 

Check out these delicious recipes packed with antioxidants and immune boosting nutrients to ward off the winter lurgies and keep your health in check. 

PORRIDGE

Winter calls for breakfasts that are warming and grounding, and porridge will tick all the right boxes there. And no…porridge isn’t just for Goldie Locks, especially not when it’s packed with spices such as cinnamon to level blood sugars throughout the day, and ginger to gently warm the body and improve circulation. Try this CARROT SPICE PORRIDGE with gentle flavours of almond milk and a good dose of fibre from oats.
