Spring nutrition to boost immunity

Fluctuations in temperature, wet weather, Spring cleaning dust, pollen and the general flushing out of the season that has passed means your immune system can feel attacked even though you want to be on fire!

My simple quick nutrition tip during this time is to make fresh vegetable juices a part of your day.

Enjoy plenty of :

  • greens such as spinach, celery, cucumber, kale
  • ginger
  • carrot
  • beetroot
  • sour citrus such as lemon, lime and grapefruit
  • if you need to sweeten with just a touch of fruit (apple, orange or pineapple) to boost your intake of immune boosting antioxidants, minerals and vitamins.

Consider swapping out your afternoon coffee for a fresh vegetable juice and a small handful of mixed nuts and seeds to support your health during this time and beyond.
