Where to find Sydney’s best hot cross buns this Easter

OK so I asked for your recommendations on the best hot cross buns around Sydney and I was overwhelmed by your amazing responses!!! Given I’ve (only) tried 7 different varieties or so now so some of the below I haven’t tried but I’m trusting you guys (COMPLETELY haha) and sharing so everyone knows where they’re at across the city!
My number one so far has been The Organic Republic Bakery in Bondi followed by La Banette in Avalon… here are some of the others as recommended by you guys:
Brickfield and Stix (Petersham)
Two Chaps (Marrickville)
Berkelo (Mosman, Avalon)
Shepard’s Bakery
Not X Buns from Sonoma
Maggio’s (Cammeray)
Flour Shop (Turramurra)
Flour and Stone (East Sydney)
Six Penny (Stanmore)
Whole Green Bakery (Clovelly) for Gluten Free
Black Star Pastry
Thorough Bread Bakery (Kirrawee but available in stores)
Pig and Pastry (Petersham)
Bourke St Bakery (Surry and Rosebery) – who also apparently have a hot cross LOAF!
Omeio Deli (Paddington)
Tuga Pastries
Saga (Enmore)
Davelle’s Bakery (Epping)
Iggy’s (Bronte)
Ancient Grains (grocery stores)
Healthy Bake (Grocery Stores)
I think I’m going to have to schedule all work meetings for remainder of the week around the Inner West because it seems there are too many great HCB in that region to get amongst. : )
No doubt you guys will still have more so pop your suggestions below for others in the community and if your kids ask for HCB for lunch this week just let them have the freakin bun and enjoy the festive time, it rolls around once per year! (with HCB starting on Boxing Day and ending at Halloween but anyway….)
