NUTRITION HIGHLIGHT : CAULIFLOWER
Cauliflower is a beautifully diverse vegetable that works itself into so many of our meals. It contains contains a powerful sulfur compound, sulforane, shown to:
- slow tumor growth in cancer
- improve blood pressure
- improve kidney function
- support both phase 1 and phase 2 liver detox.
Aim to incorporate the humble cauli by:
- roasting with cinnamon, cumin and sea salt
- blitzing raw for cauli ‘rice’ with a stir-fry
- steaming or pureeing

Whole Roasted Cauliflower
Preheat oven to 200c, halve cauliflower, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Roast on greaseproof paper for 45-55 minutes or until golden.
